Copyright & Takedown Policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026
Version: 2026-10-20-copyright-v2
Effective date: When first published on the Sinolvi service.

1. Ownership and permitted use

You may publish only material you own or have sufficient permission or another lawful basis to share. Uploading an image, appearing in it, or posting it first does not automatically make you its copyright owner. Copyright protection for AI-generated material depends on applicable law.

Public-domain material and uses independently permitted by law are not infringing merely because a report is submitted. Rights holders retain their lawful rights. Sinolvi receives only the operational license described in our Terms of Service; ownership is not transferred.

Check rights and permissionsThere is no blanket commercial-use license for images or prompts on Sinolvi. Check the actual rights, permissions and applicable exceptions before using content. Prompt copying is subject to our Terms and does not license an accompanying image, trademark or person’s likeness. Existing valid licenses and lawful exceptions remain effective.

2. Reporting a concern

Rights holders and authorized representatives can request review through Report → Copyright, where available, or email support@sinolvi.ai with the subject Copyright / Takedown Request. You can email without an account, including if your account is blocked.

Anyone may flag a concern, but must not falsely claim to own rights or represent their owner. Privacy, impersonation, non-consensual imagery and likeness concerns can also be emailed; you do not need to own copyright to raise those concerns.

3. What to include

Please provide enough information to identify and assess the claim:

  • Your name, reply email and, if acting for someone else, whom you represent and your authority.
  • The copyrighted work and available supporting information, such as an original publication or relevant license.
  • The Sinolvi post or image URL, or other information that reasonably identifies the disputed material.
  • Why you believe the use infringes your rights, considering relevant permissions and legal exceptions.
  • Confirmation that your report is accurate and made in good faith. Include a signature and additional declarations where an applicable formal notice procedure requires them.

Copyright registration is not universally required to submit a notice. We may request proportionate clarification or evidence. Do not send passwords, login codes, unnecessary identity documents or copies of unlawful imagery. Missing optional information does not override any duty to act on an urgent or legally sufficient report.

4. Review and action

Moderation and ownershipPublication approval is not verification of ownership or legal clearance. We review relevant information and may restrict access during review, remove content, request evidence or take other appropriate action. We may notify the uploader and consider their response, subject to legal requirements and lawful notice exceptions.

Allegations and legal responsibilityAcknowledging a report, asking for evidence, or restricting or removing material does not, by itself, establish infringement or admit legal fault by Sinolvi.

A report is an allegation, not automatically proof. A complainant does not need to obtain a court order before we assess a report or take legally required action. Equally, we may act on legal orders, our own findings or other grounds requiring action without waiting for a user report. Applicable legal deadlines take priority over our review process; see the complaint deadlines in our Terms of Service.

5. Responding to a removal

If you believe your content was wrongly restricted, email support@sinolvi.ai with the subject Copyright Response. Identify the content and decision, explain the mistake and provide relevant creation, permission, license or other evidence.

We assess responses under the applicable process. A challenge does not automatically restore content. Where a statutory counter-notice, notification, restoration or court procedure applies, its requirements govern. A United States DMCA counter-notice or restoration timetable does not automatically apply to every complaint. Applicable Indian copyright procedures, including Section 52(1)(c) and its rules where the storage concerned qualifies, take priority. Separate valid grounds under our Terms may also affect availability.

6. False claims and repeated infringement

Knowingly materially false notices or responses, fabricated evidence, and impersonating a rights holder are prohibited. Established abuse may lead to proportionate account restrictions and lawful remedies where available.

Good-faith reports remain protectedA genuine mistake, unsuccessful claim or good-faith disagreement is not automatically a false report. Reporting or challenging a decision does not waive your legal rights.

Repeated infringement may lead to suspension or termination in appropriate circumstances, taking account of valid notices, responses and available evidence.

7. Removal, records and legal rights

Hiding a post is not necessarily the same as removing its image file. Where removal is required, we address relevant public access within our control, including through service providers acting for us. Restricted evidence or lawful backups are not a reason to leave removed material publicly accessible. Independent third-party copies may remain beyond our control.

We may retain relevant notices, responses, evidence and action records where reasonably necessary and lawful, as explained in our Privacy Policy. Relevant complaint information may be shared with the affected uploader or authorities where necessary and permitted or required by law; unnecessary personal details should not be disclosed.

This policy does not cancel valid licenses, lawful exceptions, mandatory platform responsibilities or rights to seek lawful remedies. Applicable legal procedures, deadlines and orders prevail.

Read this policy with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
